Students in Year 13 will have the opportunity to study A2 or further AS Level subjects towards their University Entrance. However, they will also have the exciting opportunity offered by our unique supplementary programme. This programme will give them the chance to combine their main Cambridge subjects with gaining industry certifications, studying special projects and the possibility of internships with IT companies.
All subjects at this level will be options but students will need to make sure that University Entrance requirements have been taken into account. If they have already gained enough points for their university entrance they may choose to spend their Year 13 year gaining industry certifications or studying the supplementary programmes on offer. Students will choose the best programme for their future aspirations in consultation with their teachers.
Year 13 students should also look at the Supplementary Curriculum options when deciding on their programme for the year.
Subject Options:
The subjects below can be studied at A2 level in Year 13 if the AS level has been successfully completed in Year 12. A2 Level teaches a deeper understanding of the subjects as well as some new topics.
